Bucket here – we got off trail at mile 151.8. A trail angel gave us a ride 15 miles into town and Joy made reservations for us at the Silver Pines Lodge. We have been able to shower and get laundry and planning our next 9-10 days. So our plans are to get a ride back to the trail tomorrow morning and hike 27.5 miles, which brings us back to Idyllwild. This is supposedly a very difficult section of trail – so we’re planning 3 days to hike it. We will come back into town to resupply for 6 days to get us to Big Bear City, CA.
